To Our Valued Patients:

The doctors and staff at Oaks Optometric Center want to ensure you that your health and wellness are our top priority. We are here to help you and stay committed to offering you the best care possible with safe and convenient access.

We are following CDC guidelines for hygiene and have added more strategies for office cleanliness. We are doing everything we can to ensure the best continuity of care for our patients and appreciate your support and understanding.  Thank you for trusting Oaks Optometric Center as your eye care provider.

Enhanced Safety Measures:

  1. All staff are required to wear masks. We ask that patients also wear a mask or face covering when entering the office.

  2. We have placed a limit of 2 patients in our optical area. Overflow patients are asked to wait in the car or return at a designated time.

  3. Contact lens orders will be mailed to patients at no charge

  4. Curbside service is available when picking up glasses. Call us from your car and we will bring your glasses out to you.

  5. Frames are disinfected prior to and after trying on glasses. Hand sanitizer is available for patients to use before and after trying on glasses.

  6. Exams are spaced out to minimize the amount of people in the office.

  7. Maintain social distancing in the optical area. Chairs have been removed and spaced out. Reading material has also been removed.

  8. Exam rooms, testing areas, equipment, chairs, and exam lane surfaces are thoroughly sanitized before and after each patient.

  9. Frequent cleaning and disinfection of common, high touch areas, and surfaces with hospital-grade solutions.

  10. Protective shields have been added to testing equipment

  11. Frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitizer throughout the day. Staff and doctors wash their hands before and after your exam.

  12. All patients are screened prior to coming in for known COVID-19 symptoms.

  13. Upon arrival we will check your temperature with a non-contact thermometer

  14. All staff are screened and monitored to ensure they are healthy and wearing adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
